E30 factory cabrio hardtop- $1200 NC

I have a factory cabrio hardtop FS, $1200 firm.

I took a deposit for this hardtop from an R3V member a longggggg time ago, but I have not heard from him in a while- so it's up for sale again. If the buyer in question still wants the top, then it is his, but otherwise it's available for $1200 firm- and I'll refund the other person's deposit once it's been paid for.

Located near Raleigh, NC. Mounting hardware included (it's currently on a cabrio parts car)- so you could drive your cabrio to my place, install it and go.


So, if you are interested- let me know, and if you are the person who paid the deposit- PLEASE contact me to let me know what you want to do. If you want it, I need you to pick it up and pay for it soon.

I don't even own a cabrio, but if I did in WA, it would be a mandatory item.

Not really an option IMHO- it would have to be crated, and by then it would probably cost so much that it wouldn't make it worth doing.

Regardless, I'm not willing to ship it- I want the buyer to see the top before they hand over the $$$ so there are no misunderstandings. This top is in great shape, but it's not brand new.

well, no offense meant, but its like the holy grail of tops.

i just want one so i can make a carbon fiber mold to it, and make at least 4 for me and a few friends, than sell em on a mass money making scale (it costs about 30 bucks materials to make one w/fiberglass, and 130 w/carbon fiber)

but really i just want the knock off shape, and will do tiny modifications to one, like remove the need to re-adjust the windows.

No offense taken, but c'mon - did you really expect me to drive it clear across the country??? I don't even have an E30 'vert that's licensed and on the road right now, so it would have to go in my truck. 2900 miles at 14 MPG, shit that's $600 in fuel alone!


If it really is the holy grail, gather up some friends and drive down here to get it.

but i think i would just have a friend from N.Y.C. go down and pay (no-not you a visit) you, then ship it, if your really adamant about not shipping or having to be there physically for the buy.

they do show up here, in fact, one girl sold one for 700, on C.L. and when i called her, (like 30 ninutes after she posted it) it was already gone.

anyways.
perhaps whoever buys yours, will move to WA, and sell it to me then.
i am patient enough. (usually)
