Hello R3v,
I'm offering my 1991 BMW 325i Convertible for sale (late model). Glacier Blue Metallic with blue interior. The car is in pretty nice aesthetic & mechanical shape. 156K miles. VIN: WBABB2312MEC25497. I purchased it with the intent of making it my summer daily, but I've decided to instead get my old 190e roadworthy again.
Some pros of the car:
-New trailing arm & rear subframe bushings (OEM)
-Eibach Springs & Bilstein Shocks
-Eibach Strut Bar
-Refreshed 3.73 LSD
-Rebuilt CV axles
-AKG DSSR (Shifts like butter)
-5 Speed Swapped with lightened flywheel
-New convertible top recently in excellent condition with super clear window (converted to manual)
-Blue interior in really nice condition (reupholstered) with euro rear headrests
-Clean body, no structural rust
-Control arms, tie rods, sway bar links etc. replaced
-E36 steering rack installed
-A/C Converted to R134a with parallel flow condenser installed & blows cold
-Hot heat
-Working cruise control
-Clean 14" Basket weave wheels with matching spare
-M20 Engine pulls hard to redline with plenty of power
-Timing belt service performed around 14K miles ago, about 4 years (might be due again soon based on age)
-Car was resprayed; it isn't perfect, but it looks great to most
-Clean NV title
-Some receipts/records from the PO
Some cons of the car:
-Central locking inop
-A bit of vibration from rear around 50 MPH (not sure if driveshaft or tire balance related)
-Idles a little lumpy sometimes, I believe its vacuum leak related
-Leaks a little oil
-Backup lights inop
-Car had cat deleted (no smog in my area) but on the plus side has a new bosal muffler & sounds great
-Rocker moldings installed with screws by PO
The car is not perfect & could still use a little bit of work to address the above issues, but it still runs & drives well & looks nice. Clean Autocheck history report on hand.
I'm asking $6000 OBO
Located in Fernley, NV, outside of Reno, NV
Thank you for your time (:
