Selling a 1991 318 Sedan. I’ve had it for 8 years driven occasionally since then and sat for the past 9 months due to a loud exhaust leak. TX car most of its life but has seen snow/salt since I’ve had it. Other things are keeping me busy and I want to get it to someone else who can do something with it.
234k on body, less on the engine.
Good:
Engine runs well (m42), 5spd shifts well.
4.18 lsd
Oversize front sway bar
Suspension is tight
Bad:
New exhaust leak
Rust at some fenders
Rust at rear pinch seam
Rust at both trunk low points
Driver rear door is hard to close but does latch shut
Brakes are soft and ps not working after sitting for 9mo.
Driver’s seat is in very bad shape
Driver’s kick panel and panel below instrument cluster are not currently installed due to instrument cluster repair (all pieces are there)
Dent in rear bodywork and broken taillight from rear-ending
Clearcoat is gone in many places, paint is in very bad shape
Extras:
Front skid plate (not currently on but fits)
Winter tires mounted on their own wheels
Removable roof rack (gutter clamp type)
Good floormats and trunk mat
Work done since purchase:
Suspension overhaul
Exhaust replacement (back from headers and replacement muffler has since rusted)
Fuel pump, filter, pressure regulator
Starter replaced

Blower motor replaced
Radiator, thermostat, and hoses replaced
Rotors and pads replaced
Parking brakes overhauled
Speakers replaced, aftermarket radio
