I could probably be convinced to get rid of mine (1991 325i 5spd). My original intent was to swap an M50 but between work and going back to school in the fall, I just don't see that happening. Actually, I've owned it since November and have barely driven it. I've got 3 cars and something has to go.....if you're interested, let me know. I'm in Portland.

Goods:

New t-belt, h20 pump, tensioner, belts, hoses, fan clutch, etc.
Clean interior and exterior
Newer tires
New battery
Runs strong
All stock, no mods--perfect starting point

Bads:

Odometer is broken---what E30's isn't?
Steering rack is about done---ps isn't hooked up
Catalytic convertor rattles--probably needs a new one

I'd sell it for well under your $5K budget

i've got something you might be interested in. i have a Schwartz black 1989 325i 4dr i would sell to you. everything works. its got really low miles, 99k miles on it. their is only one down turn i noticed from your add, mine is an auto. i'd sell it to you for a hell of a price tho, and i live in Oregon.
