    WTB E30 325I Vert- 5 spd

    Hey R3v fam!

I am looking for a 325 vert. 5spd. Would love Delphin over Cardinal, but open to many other colors.

no white or beige and rust free.

located on the east coast, but willing to travel for the right car. let me know what you’ve got.

    thanks!
    Matt

Not too long ago, verts seemed plentiful as fewer people wanted them. In 1990, I bought my first BMW, a 325i coupe with manual transmission and no options, for $24650 (it just happened to be Delphin gray metallic). The convertible model was nearly $35000.

I don’t see as many E30 verts driving around Southern California as before. Some, have inevitably become “garage queens”, others wrecked or rusted out. Since over 140,000 cabriolets were made, I’m sure a few are available.

Curious user name, “platelets”. Better than thrombocytopenia.

    Good luck with your search.

You’re right. There used to be many more of them on the road. Today, they seem to be a much rarer breed. Thank you for the luck.

I got the nickname because of thrombocytopenia.

I was a R&D Director at Enzyme Research Laboratories in South Bend, IN. I am quite familiar with the coagulation field. I have a '88 325i vert that I am debating whether to let go or not. My left ankle is not happy lately and driving a stick is not fun with a hurt ankle anymore. PM me if you are interested and I can tell you more about the car.

I keep mine in the garage, and i rarely drive it. Also white is the best color for e30 IMO.
E30 Vert is becoming more rare and a good nice example will fetch good money...

Hey there, hope I'm not hijacking the thread at all (especially with my account being so new -- I made this account because of this thread)! I was going to PM you to check in and see if OP wasn't interested in taking your vert off your hands, but noticed I can't PM you. If it doesn't work out between you and OP, then feel free to PM me here so we can discuss.

OP, best of luck on your search! Much more a CS person than a platelet person myself, but I hope you find someone to cell you just what you're looking for .

I'm not a "cells" guy at all. No problem about hijacking the thread. OP has not responded to any of the posts so I guess he had lost interest.
