Price drop to 8K
I am prepping for sale my E30 with a Bimmerheads built 2.9 M20 engine. This car is a driver and an absolute joy in the hills and track. The engine was built in 2018 with the best components I could get my hands on and should continue to hum happily for decades to come.
This car is a raw experience with the loping cam, aggressive bushings and suspension setup. If any engine was ever begging for ITBs, it is this one.
I am looking for 8k. Everything below is accurate as far as I know, but I fully intend on getting a shop pre purchase inspection before selling, expecting to get it done this month. If they discover issues the price will adjust.
It will not pass smog (currently catless) so looking for an out of state buyer. It is currently registered as non-op in CA.

Interior: 6/10
Exterior: 6/10
Labor to swap this engine in was done by Bimmerheads, and they killed it. "While you're in theres", like wire harness repair, spark plugs, new injectors, mounts, transmission seals done. Build specs:
Engine:
Mileage not known but is probably below 10k since this was done.
Mahle PowerPak 2.9 stroker kit Pistons
M52 crankshaft
Ireland Engineering Connecting Rods
Bimmerheads built Cylinder Head
284/280 Ireland Engineering Cam
Ireland Engineering Long Tube headers to Bimmerheads assembled 2.5’’ exhaust. The headers were not ceramic coated
Megasquirt2 91 octane Tune to 220 WHP
Ireland Engineering Aluminum Flywheel
Ireland Engineering Clutch (I believe it was a stage 1)
"I" intake manifold
Suspension:
Ireland Engineering Progressive Springs
Koni Sport Shocks
GC Camber Plates
Ireland Engineering Front Sway Bar
Maintenance during my ownership (2014+):
Timing belt and tensioner this year
Front strut bar
3.73 LSD
Delrin FCA Bushings
AKG motorsport 75D rear subframe bushings
Interior:
Odometer says 165920 but it is broken and not original. Actual mileage is unknown. 165-180 is my rough guess for the chassis as it was said to be 150ish when I purchased and I haven't driven it much.
Wood wheel and shifter knob
Front seats not great, cards and rear seats in fairly good condition
Center console disintegrating, needs kick panels and glovebox remounted
Dash is less cracked than normal (not original)
Body:
16x7.5 Borbet type As, 205 hankook ventus tires (should probably replace just for age)
Rust on rear taillight and sunroof, small surface rust on other places. Tried to capture most in the pictures
Door / sunroof seals falling apart
Rear pop out window was broken into
Radio not installed, speakers still in place
Side panel fell off
Red46 skid plate
Zender Spoiler
A few large scratches, particularly large ones on rear passenger quarter
Maint needed:
Ebrakes
AC (if you want this)
PS (deleted, but the steering itself is fine)
Speedometer and odometer (fuel and water gauge work)
Horn
Fluid leak on passenger side EDIT - FIXED: replaced the lower radiator hose
Parts included:
stock airbox
Ireland eng SS brake lines
extra brake pads
2 stock radios with code (untested, do not know if these will function)
parts clusters
