Market is soft and people attempting to cash in on cars increased rarity and popularity.

9k varying range for market value is lulz. Car is very clean though.

No offense this is a great car but 20k cmon now. I honestly cant even justify spending 10k on a m3 e30 unless it was an 8.5 out of 10.

IMO if I was laying out car like this it would be a e46 M3. way better car for the $$$ unless you are buying for bragging rights at the car club meets.

Matt, why would you post this in a forum of broke asses?

Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
            Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.

The e30 M3 is a status symbol above all others.... and it will turn many more heads then an e46 ever will. Plus they're an investment... buy one now 10 years down the road it'll probably be worth twice as much. An e46 probably will never appreciate like that.

Prices for these cars have actually dropped a bit. Before our economy hit the shitter,
that car could have demanded around $18.5k. Now, that car is probably worth $13-15k.
This is the best time to pick one of these up cause once our economy rebounds, so will
the resale value. 50 years down the road, people will still remember the first!
