SOLD
Here's the specs:
1987 Delphin Gray on Pearl Beige Interior
5spd
252,xxx mileage on chassis
All work has been performed by either myself (former BMW Technician) or Edge Motorworks in Dublin, CA
Last July, I had a rattle coming from the front of the engine, I thought it might have been the bearing in the water pump, but literally 4 hours after the noise started, my timing belt broke (it was the tensioner). I had it towed to Edge, and the engine torn down. I was going to rebuild it, but Erik (owner of the shop) told me he had a used M20 they had pulled out of an E30 with 85k miles on it that had been 24v swapped.
The car runs great, turns great, stops great, and is on it's way to looking better.
The body is fairly straight. The hood, roof, and trunk are pretty oxidized. Right now I have a spare trunk lid, and iS spoiler at my body shop being painted for it. I was going to try to do the hood next. The paint on the sides of the car is great. I can send some decent sized pictures of the quality of the side of the paint, the oxidation are not that easy to capture in pictures. The interior has 3 cracks on the dash (started as 1 only a few months ago, now has 3), driver side seat has a large tear in the ass area, passenger seat, and rear seat are in good condition.
As for the rest of the car, in the last year and a half:
December '07 Kosei K1's and hub centric rings/ Vorshlag Studs/ Straight Pipes installed
March/April '08: Koni Front and Rear top adjustable struts/ shocks/ IE3 Springs/ Ground Control Spec E30 Camber Plates/ Ground Control RSM's/ Alignment/ New Bump Stops/ UUC Rear Slotted Rotors with Porterfield R4S Pads
July '08 Used M20 with 85k miles, new Cap and Rotor/ Water Pump/ Timing Belt and Tensioner/ Z4 SSK/ Shift Boot/ Rogue Engineering Transmission Mounts/ OE Motor Mounts/ New Fluids
October/November '08 173 DME and Dinan Software/ UUC Slotted Front Rotors and Porterfield R4S pads
January/February '09 Late Model Front Valence/Bumper/ new iS Front Lip/ Ryan G extended splitter/ Fog Lights/ LaminX for fogs (not installed)/ Smoked Front Turn Signals/ new Brake Ducts/ Euro Plate Filler/ Euro Grills (the abrahamsmotorsport ones)
Besides paint on the horizontal surfaces, and a new driver side seat, the only things I can think of this car needs are new control arm bushings, rear tires in the near future, and a set of cat's to have on hand. The car will come with an OE car cover, and a new set of Tie Rods I have not installed. It has an Alpine MP3 deck installed that came out of my previous E30 318iS, it's a little over 2 years old.
I've had this E30 for 2 years (as of the 8th of May). It has been a great car. I picked it up with 224k on the clock... I've obviously put more money than I should have into it, but it is a great driving/handling ride, and always puts a smile on my face on the way to work. It has made 3 trips to San Diego, and 2 to LA, as well as several from the East Bay to the North Bay. Here are a few pics over the course of ownership.

This last shot is one of the more recent ones (iPhone picture), brake ducts have since been installed and some Kopi MHW smoked front turn signals installed
