    FS: Clean 1988 Zinno Cab

I've been toying with the idea of selling my car and it looks like I'm going to be needing to sell it quite soon. It's a 1988 325i 151,000 mile convertible, automatic, and Zinnoberrot paint that would be nearly flawless after someone with a polisher came by and cleaned it up. The car was born with premium sound, and a tan sport interior.

I am currently the fourth (?) owner of the car. I have the inspection book stamps from '88-'99. I have service records dating back to the purchase from a used car dealership on January 18th 1990. This couple presumably being the second owner of the car, then some other couple bought it from them in 2001 and bought a new rear window and new tires. I got the car in September of last year, and it has been fitted with new fuel pump, timing belt, (used, but good cond. (7000 mile)) water pump, transmission filter/gaskets, front and rear brake pads and sensors (though the break lining light is on?), turned four rotors, flushed and refilled with synthetic brake fluid, fuel filter and injectors cleaned. At some point, ellipsoids were installed on the car and a Sony head unit was put in.

The paint is clean, aside from swirl marks, it has less than ten scratches that are all the way through the paint, none large. It has probably thirty rock chips on the hood, and maybe ten dents on the whole car. The car has never been wrecked, although the deck lid is not original. I assume someone backed into something that was at a standstill. The paint on the trunk lid is not a PERFECT match, but it's pretty close.

The interior is pretty clean, the top of the back seat has the infamous rips on the seams, the driver's bolster has a 6 inch rip, and the bottoms of both front seats have some small cracking. The dash has one crack all the way across, one three inch, and two one inch cracks. It has a completely functioning 13 button OBC and heated seats.

There is NO RUST on this car, it's been in Tucson all of it's life besides a three month stay in Northern California. I just drove it 1,000 miles TO NorCal, and 1,000 miles back to Tucson. I'd be comfortable sending my mother anywhere in the country with this car, knowing it would not break down on her. This is the car you're looking for, if you want a clean vert project. The car is stock, and it looks quite stock. I can throw in two 12 inch subs that shake the rear of the car pretty hard if you really want.

This is what the car looks like, I'll have more pictures in the light of tomorrow.

Have you made a purchase from www.blunttech.com recently?
