    beater/project '90 325is - $900

    SOLD

5 Speed! This has been my Boston winter beater for two years.

Unfortunately, it's currently in the middle of a timing belt/water pump, etc maintenance binge, and I'm running out of time before an upcoming move to SF (I've got myself into a bit of time pinch with the M needing some unexpected maintenance, right while I'm in the middle of rebuilding the head on my Miata).

For $900, this comes on the basketweaves and includes a set of bottlecaps, plus a full new set of brake rotors and pads.

Or, on the bottlecaps (with brake parts, without basketweaves) for $700.

It's not running: still needs the timing stuff installed.

I'll post more photos this afternoon.

Front end condition? Where in Boston is the better question? Truck and trailer don't lend themselves to easy get around in that city. Know it all to well.

Bought mine in NH, rented a dolly from U-Haul in NH[ one-way to NY ] for under a $100 and towed it to Long Island. If you have access to a truck/suv it is cheap to get it to NJ. If my swap was done you would not have a chance. Grab before it is too late.

What's up with the front end? Is it damaged? How's the interior?

Gonna be rusty he said it was his winter beater, and with the paint faded like that I can't imagine it doesn't have some ferrous oxide brewing.

                    Pending local sale.

                    To answer the questions:

The front end is clean, it's just parked up against that railing, so no photo at the moment. The car has remarkably little rust for a winter beater, but there's some at the trunk seal (both on the bootlid and on the rear finish panel), some at a dent on one front fender, and quite possibly elsewhere.

I'm located just outside Davis square. It's parked in my driveway, and flatbed or trailer access shouldn't be too bad.

It's got 212k miles. I'll post more pics if this sale falls through.

Should have just said Somerville. That's not to tough and a Red Bones sortie would have been good.

A Red Bones Sortie is ALWAYS good, E30 or no.
