I've had both and the ones with the lowest miles seemed to always have problems, probably because they weren't driven enough. After 3 experiences with low mile lemons, I decided to look at how well the car was cared for and stopped worrying about mileage.sigpicComment

Well the 330 you test drove the other day is probably gonna be on the CPO lot at Hendrick... Unless someone buys it for 25K in about 24-48 hours....
They have an 09 335 on the lot that I will be leasing for less than the payments on my 06 330. M-tech car too.
Wanna buy a 330? lolComment

Herbivor,
I understand. I've got a 1997 318Ti sport. http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/reader-rides/852/
Good luck with the sale! It's a beautiful car, wish I had the money!Comment

Not 100% sure but I think around the timing chain case. The M42 is notorious for leaking oil. There are several gaskets at the front of the engine, non of which are life threatening to the engine if they leak a little oil, provided of course you keep it topped off. My other 318 leaks as well.sigpicComment

Thanks, but I hear the Ti handles even better than an E30. Maybe you should keep it. I personally am not a big fan of the styling though. I'll stick with E30s probably 4ever, or until Tesla roadsters become less than $20K.sigpicComment

It is still for sale. The longer it stays, the angrier the wife gets and the less sex I have. Not only could you be getting a great ride, I could be getting one too.
