the good:
- i bought it from a club member two years ago
- control arms + bushing
- rear trailing arm bushings
- rear shock tower reinforcements
- new rotors + pads + 1 extra set of Mintex pads (front)
- new tie rods
- new fsb bushings
- gc coilovers and eibach springs (450f/550r)
- koni yellow SA shocks/struts
- all the "e36" cooling issues with the pump, radiator and hoses were done when the previous owner had it.
- ac works great
- clutch is good
- engine pulls strong
- in two years, i haven't had to do anything but normal maintenance on it...oh wait, i did replace the passenger window regulator.
- always mobil1 and chevron techron every other oil change
the bad:
- wear on driver's seat
- central locking doesn't work for passenger side rear door
- i reaplaced the window control module with one from a convertible, so the window controls are a bit funny...basically, if you roll the rear windows down, they all come down. it's actually kinda funny.
- spare wheel is bent...it holds air and balances, but it's bent
- driver's seat doesn't recline.
- lights on the radio and clock don't work, or at least they are real dim
i did about a season and a half of autocross and it's been to VIR Full once.
