FS the nicest stock E30 $1000 SoCal

I have owned Bailey for 2.5 years. I am the second owner. She's an 89 325i 4-door automatic. You do not see stock original E30s in such great condition. Nice original Alpineweiss paint, very nice black interior, crack-free dash, AC blows cold. Never in accident, no body work was ever done, windows and door locks work, all gauges work, all lights are functional, complete tool kit, ownwer's manual. Bailey has lived in Camarillo all her life.
She has a major defect, thus the very low price. It's an automatic that just went out.
    Here are the details:
183K on a very strong engine. Recent work includes: Timing belt, water pump and tensioner, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, all hoses and belts, intake boot, fuel filter. The engine is in great condition with plenty of power. The motor does start.
Transmission needs replacing/rebuilding. The car does not move. I have 6 neutral positions to choose from. (A rare option, albeit undesirable and over redundant.)
The muffler has a minor leak. Not annoying but noticeable.
The heater core is bypassed due to a coolant leak inside the car. I have a replacement core. I may just be the valve. I have a replacement of that too.
Front control arm bushing are due. I bought a set. They need to be put in.
The sunroof has an issue. I suspect one of the cables failed.
I had no intentions of selling the car. I was keeping it for my 15-year old son who is starting to drive. I am not a fan of automatics but I thought it would be easier to learn on. Now that the transmission gave out, I have no time to deal with it and have too many other projects. I also tried to teach my son to drive a stick and he did quite well.

Replace the tranny with another auto or do a 5-speed swap. The price is FIRM. Located in Camarillo, Ventura County, in Southern/Central California.

The car is NOT driveable. It will need to be towed. I can deliver in Southern California.

Wow. The car looks to be in really great shape, aside from the auto trans giving out. Good luck with the sale!

              Too much? Not enough?
A while the term dead means not driveable, the engine does start and idle.
