Thanks Jean. I know I know. I've been going back and forth about it a lot lately. Its soooo close to being done. I knew it would take a while to sell, maybe thats a good thing.

            Ryan,
Your new pic's are doing more justice to all your work - they are great!!

I'm surprised this car is still for sale. It is restored correctly, authentically & priced fairly. Come on, someone pull the trigger!

While it is getting close to E30M3 "beater" prices, a M3 restored to a comparable level is in the mid $20's in todays depressed market.

Right now, there is 7 E30M3's on ebay & lately it's been between 7-12 FS consistently - normally 2-4. Thirty nine E30's FS on the bay & it used to run 10-15 consistently. You are seeing +60% more E30 inventory for sale.

In 3 years, not a single E30 Hartge FS in the US until this fully documented one went on the blocks. That speaks to how rare it is. You can see an E30M3 on the road 2 or 3 times a month. With this car in a month, you get a lot more waves, thumbs up & strangers asking about it, than you would in a M3 in a year.

Yea, you could keep saving for that M3 & hope to get one for $10-$12k but it is still going to take an additional $5-$10k to get it right (in R3V years that's 4+). Here is a car that certainly isn't going to go down in value & the upside looks good. Upside price movement in the E30 market was taking place only, with M3's, M-Tech's, tuner cars (Hartge, Alpina, ACS) & low mile concourse originals. That makes this car a bargain at $10k.

I fully agree with you but unfortunately, our cars haven't really made it to a collectors or classic status as it still remains more of a cult status than anything as of now. I'm hoping that it will eventually change but I just don't think we're there as of this moment. Until that happens, I feel precious gems like this will not have the market base as it deserves.

In the mean time, free bump for a great car.

Car is sold. Thanks everyone for everything. There is a whole lot of R3V community help in this car. I genuinely appreciate it.

Nothing solid yet. I've been looking at pre 74 Alfa GTVs, mid 80s 911s, CS coupes, built 2002s, and so on. I'm open to lots of stuff. Just waiting for the magic one to pop up.
