Nice, reliable, solid classic E30 BMW that has spent its life in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Mississippi. True sport package 325is with sports seats, sunroof and factory limited slip differential. Documented service history since 2001 and no major accidents. I'm the second owner of this car (from 68k miles in 2001 to 2006). Selling because current owner recently relocated to NYC two weeks ago from Mississippi and no longer needs a car.
Sold as mileage unknown -- odometer stopped in late 2008 at 170k (documented through service records).
Suspension
- E30 M3 springs, Bilstein HD shocks and struts
- E30 M3 offset control arm bushings
Three owners, stack of service records back to 2001
- Timing belt in 2009, less than 5k miles ago
- Recent rear brakes
- Major service in December 2006 at E30 specialist Vintage Sports + Racing included new radiator, all cooling hoses
- both lower control arms and front wheel bearings replaced in 2003-4.
Body
Mostly original; no major accidents. Passenger side fender replaced after fender bender in 2003.
Small area of clearcoat peeling on the roof.
Surface rust on driver's side fender and driver's side rocker panel painted with POR15 in 2005; hasn't spread.
Inside of trunk lid and trunk given quick rust repair at VSR in 2006.
Needs:
- A/C system complete but weak
- aftermarket Blaupunkt stereo inoperative
- stitching on driver's side seat bolster
