It is a super clean, well maintained car. But the price your asking is in 24v swap territory.

I know it's clean and has all the maintenance done. But E30 M3 5 lug, doesn't add $4k to the value of the car.

I think the difference between this and your typical 24v swap car is that everything else has already been done to this car. Nearly EVERYTHING has been updated with new parts sans the drivetrain.

Most 24v cars just have the 24v in them and maybe springs, shocks and wheels. It all adds up when you go into everything. Not saying maintenance parts add value to a car, but it sure makes it easier/cheaper for the next person if the car needed maintenance but was already taken care of.

I bought my e36 m3 for a great deal, but when I had to spend $2000 on new tires and brakes, etc. immediately after I made the purcahse it wasn't as great of a deal as I made it out to be.

            Bump

            Price is 8k

This car is not comparable to alot of those e30's. This car is so sound and so well put together.

When you look into buying one of those ratty s50, 5 lug cars, for 6k and 7k and so on. Your gonna spend alot of money trying to make it a clean car.

..And I know where there is an OBD-1 S52 swap for sale very close to where this car is for sale. Someone should make a trip up for a package deal.

Good luck with the sale, that car is super clean. And you are absolutely right, it would take a ton of work (and $$$) to get your average $4k E30 to that standard.

                  Thank you sir...

I have a few parties interested at the moment but if I cant get the car sold soon, Im gonna include an M50 shortblock for free if it goes for 9k.

                  I actually have a spare s52 as well, maybe even a s50 if I part my 95 M3.

which engine is more desireable - s50 or s52?

what if you included your s52 in the sale?

s52 but not by much. Include it for the same price? Are you serious?
