    FS: plastic bumper 325 4dr

    For sale is a 1991 325i 4dr sedan - true mileage unknown.
    Asking price is $2,000.

    Story:

Car was purchased from local scavengers as a shell. had very little rust which was professionally taken care of. Car was a mess - no interior, no compression, no suspension. I swapped literally everything on the car to where it stands now. Virtually everything on the car has been replaced in the last 4 years.

    Body:

I live in New England. There is rust on the bottom seam of the doors. There is a new rust spot in the passenger wheel well on the seam, and just below the driver door. The front valence has some rust behind the bumper - you can't really see it but it's there. The floor of the car under the passenger's feet has been pushed up by user error with a floor jack and unpaved paddock. The rear passenger door was tagged by an F250. I have another door, luckily with very little rust. There are knicks and dents here and there - the car showed up to me like this. Fog lights are blasted. That said, the shell of the car has very little rust on it, especially for a New England car. I have the rain gutter trim that's missing in the photos. Yes, it's half shadowlined.

    Mods:

    Headlights are H1/H4 Euro units.
Supersprint cat back - sounds amazing
    H&R Sport springs
    Bilstein sport shocks
Eibach Sway bar (Rear is un-installed and sitting in the trunk)
    Z3 1.9L Shifter
Ronal ACT Wheels 15x7 with G-Force Sport tires ~75% tread left

    Driveline:

Began life as a 318. I put an M20B25 in it that now has about 155k on it - 40k on a bottom end rebuild that I did not do. Getrag 260 tranny with 1.9Z3 lever, 4.10LSD.

    Serviced items:

    motor mounts/tranny mounts (0k - did yesterday)
    New Catalytic Converter
    Half Shafts (new)
    Guibo
    Steering Knuckle
    New Clutch/machined flywheel
    New ignition system (1k)
    New ICV (1k)
    New TPS (1k)
    New AFM
    many others...

I have had my share of electrical problems, first ended up being bad engine ground - the post rusted off but was still "attached", the second was intermittent hard cutouts which it seems has been remedied by a new TPS and brain.

    Interior:

Well worn sport interior from a 2dr car (rear seat is slightly different, seats fold forward). Black leather. NOTE: Photos were taken prior to swapping the drivers seat back to the sport seat. The Schroth by Konig seat will NOT be going with the car. I will post photos of the very well worn sport driver seat as soon as I can. Momo Steering wheel is included. Head Unit is a very cheap Dual stereo system, but it has an Aux In. Rear speakers are Pioneer I think...

    Other issues:

A/C is complete but not charged.
ABS does not work - power to ABS was not wired when i put the 6 cylinder motor in.
"inspection" light is on in the gauge cluster - the SI lights are NOT on.
Needs Brake pads at the minimum - car has been sitting.
Cruise Control does not work. Needs power wired to unit and bowden cable installed on throttle body.
    Fluids need to be changed.

Car is located in Danvers, MA. Is still registered/inspected. I can deliver anywhere within reasonable cycling distance from Boston Proper, but if you want to look at the car you have to come to me.

Comes with a set of bent bottlecaps with Dunlop Graspic snow tires. At least one season left.

    Photos:

This car will be gone quickly, if not via a sale, it will be dismantled and sent to the crusher. I have too many cars. If you think you're interested, don't wait.
