Yes I dont have a job I got caught doing a 57 in a 45. My speedometer is off by 10 or so. And I accept the ticket didnt argue with him or anything. My fault for speeding now I need to get this car sold so i can pay the ticket.

I believe a broken speedometer may be a basis for a diversion on the ticket, depending on the state, though you would still likely be responsible for court fees (and perhaps fixing your speedometer...which you should do anyway).

I accept the ticket, I knew speedometer was off but I just cruising not speeding or anything. Im going to pay the ticket once I get the car sold. He could have gave me tickets over 1000 dollars but he was a nice guy n told me he'll let me slide.

Getting speeding tickets is like cheating on you gf. Deny! deny! deny! you have nothing to lose by fighting the ticket.

I got a 75 in a 35 (country roads). i went to court just for the hell of it and the cop didn't show up, all charges dropped. Even if the cop does show up, a judge will never increase the fine but may in fact lower it or offer a payment plan.

yes dude go to court my friend had a 1,250 ticket for no ins. burning rubber, and speeding went to court 25 bucks a month he had to pay and it was dropped to like 900...of course he payed more then the 25 but dude just go to court.
