I had a run in with the back of a Dodge pick up truck and now my baby is totaled. I was originally going to part it out myself but since I just picked up a 1970 BMW 2002 project car I don't really have the time. I am sad to see my car just sit and collect dust. I want to sell the car complete as is.
The car was maintained well throughout ownership. The front seats are in pretty good shape. The drivers has some rips and cracks in it but is still supportive and comfortable. The passenger side is in almost perfect shape with just one small cut in it that does not even go to the foam inside. Overall the interior was in really good shape besides the seat and of course a cracked dash. Carpet is pretty good. Headliner is pretty much perfect. The tool kit is in the trunk and complete minus one tool.
The engine has a hole in the valve cover but still ran after the accident. The transmission was in great shape and has redline synthetic in it that was about a month old. The diff is a liimited slip 4.10 that worked well, also with brand new redline fluid. It has a cat back custom made with a magnaflow and resonator that sound great. And It has a Turner chip installed in the computer.
The suspension is all in good shape still. It has Ground Control Coilovers on Bilstien Sports. the front has the Ground Control camber and caster plates. The rear has e46 shock tower mounts. Offset poly control arm bushings. Turner sway bars, 22mm front 19mm adjustable rear. The suspension set-up was perfect for the street or track. I took this car to San Diego and back and LA multiple times on this setup and it was plenty comfortable for 10 hours drives and handled like it was on rails when I hit the twisties. $1400 in suspension parts before tax.
New Brembo blanks and Metal Master pads all around with a couple thousand miles on them.
It has an is spoiler on the trunk. New trunk emblem. Body in good shape minus the front damage and driverside rear quarter where there is a small dent. Windows work fine as do all the switches throughout.
The car is complete as is. The only thing I have taken from the car is the battery cable.
I'm looking to get $1500 obo for it the way it sits. The car would be perfect for someone who has a stock and tired looking e30. Just buy it and swap over everything and you will have a really nice car for the street and the track. This is what I was going to do originally until the bug to get an 02 got to me. Probably would have been a hell of a lot easier to that, but where is the fun in doing something easy? PM me any questions. I'm located in Rohnert Park CA.
