i found this on ebay 2 hrs away from me. i've talked to the guy seems really cool. he told a little bit about the car,but............. does his buy it now price seems a little over the top or is it just me? he's the 3rd owner. 1st being in arizona, 2nd being chicago,and 3rd being him. the first question i asked him is there any rust. he said surface on the rockers and that's it. also he said he would take off the wheels and stereo stuff to lower the price more.i had around $2500+/- in mind minus wheels and stereo. what should i expect to pay? i'm just saying 2500 cause i've seen similar 325is go for about that maybe a little more. thanks guys

I'd pass on it.

He mentioned that he bought it on ebay and its clear that he does all his shopping on ebay.
Ebay angel eye, ebay tail light, ebay M side grills, ebay gauge faces, ebay steering wheel, ebay shift knob, etc. you get the point. IMHO all of that stuff is crap.

I wouldn't trust the buyer either. Bullshit only driven in the summer, you don't put 228,XXX miles on a car thats only driven in the summer (as the cluster appears to read). The rockers are not the only rust, the front struts are rusted from a shitty ground control install and it looks like the cowl is starting to bubble with rust (although it may just be reflections).

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW THANK YOU JESUS and r3v guys! it kinda looked mexicanized (no offense). for some reason i just kept wanting. i guess that fact that it's a 89is in my area. i'll be smarter to wait for something better. $hit! i kept getting stressed about it. thank you guys for not letting me make a huge mistake.

I was equating it with a 3.73 and the m3 zf trans. I did that for a little while. Didn't like the high revs all the time, especially with a louder exhaust. High rpms in top gear on the highway is annoying to me, and it kills economy. Just my .02
