i am putting up my daily driver for sale because i want to get back into a Volkswagen since im more familiar with them. this car is reliable and has been for the past two years. the main issue with it is the leaky oil pan. you have to add oil every 3rd gas fill up. i have the part but no time to do the work. also the paint has been sun faded because it was a Florida car, but this means that the rust is very minimal and that is why i bought it in the first place. it has a factory limited slip diff and makes a great car in the winter as well. i can include winter wheels/tires if the price is right. e-mail me for pictures and any questions.
i just replaced the front passenger side hub assembly and all four corners rotors and pads. and repaired a hard line for the brakes. also the fuel level sender needs to be replaced, the idiot light still works so i use that, but i can get the part for 50$ and fix it, i just haven't had the time. it dose need the e-brake shoes replaced, they never worked and i didn't bother putting them in when i did the breaks a couple months ago.
i also have a couple extra steering wheels, an IS trunk spoiler, and an adapter for a cone filter that i removed in favor of a factory air box that will come with it. also my repair manual will come with the sale since i will not be needing it after the car is sold. its basically new and was 60$ http://www.bentleypublishers.com/isb...254/index.html
4dr 5 speed factory limited slip, i updated the OBC to the 13 button that comes in the IS models. ellipsoid headlights. is basically a four door IS model with out the seats or body kit. also has a BMP upper strut bar and billet oil cap, and aftermarket exhaust. appears to be stainless but im not sure of the brand, it has 178,xxx miles
