Very nice. But the listed problems, especially the engine, will be most costly.

Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
      Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.

LOL, I was about to say LS2/6spd but I think s52 would even be more blasphemy to Merc purists. :D

anyone know what it would cost to get that fixed, assuming you were doing it yourself? and can you point one to a good forum to read up about it? thanks

well the head obviously needs rebuilding which for most people would just consist of taking it to a head shop and having them do it for ~400 bucks... but while you're at it replacing the chain, rails, gaskets would probably run you around 5-600 dollars as well if not more....

Think Cosworth parts are not common over the shelf pieces. M3 engines were in house, M-B outsourced for a variety of cars they built.

ding ding. I'm fairly sure the cosworth motor will be more to rebuild/repair than an s14 hence my suggestion to do an LS2 swap and be done with it.
