Selling my 82 323i European model E21. This is a very rare car here in the US. I bought this car with plans to restore it and daily drive the car but since I'm out of work, it's not going to happen. I'd rather see this car go to somebody who can appreciate it rather than let it sit in my yard.
This car is in rough condition but does run and drive well. Has the M20 6 cylinder engine with 5 speed transmission. Original slick top car with no sunroof. Recaro front seats, disc rear brakes, European bumpers, the whole 9 yards. Car is currently registered with a clean CA title in hand.
The car was originally a copper orange color but was repainted by the previous owner. The quality of the paint is nothing special. The bumpers are there but in rough shape. Car has been slightly rear ended at some point and damage can be seen in pictures. Car has 13" BBS RA wheels with almost brand new tires. I also just installed a rebuilt alternator and a newer fan and fan clutch from an E30 325iS. I would rather consider this car a good running and driving parts car, or a good project for somebody. I don't want the buyer to expect it to be perfect or nitpick all of the little problems it has. If you know E21's, you know this car has a lot of rare parts that didn't come in or on US model cars.
Asking $1950 or best reasonable offer.
