bought it from a mye28.com forum member, here:
it wasnt close to being as nice as described, HOWEVER, i spent several thousand dollars, and countless hours getting to the condition which i expected at time of purchase.
this is how she sits now.

i added a brake upgrade from an E34, 18" staggered style 5s. front and rear strut braces, adjustable sway bars, Mtech spoiler, M5 front valance, and about 40 hours in work to the the front and rear valances alone. sandblasted and powdercoated headlight assemblies, clear euro corner markers, and some other goodies... i have a euro fire extinguisher, road triangle, tool kit, M5 trunk kit, (installed already) black trunk lid liner, etc etc...
the euro conversion that the previous owner did was a fucking joke. all of the holes were GLUED shut, so i took the car apart and had it done correctly. replaced both bumpers, and did a ton of welding and paint work to make it correct.
it was purchased in san diego, and a friend drove it to portland, with no issues... however, when it arrived, i found a bunch of stuff that needed to be addressed.
the only things i havent looked into are the sunroof not sliding, and the heater blower not working unless the ac is on. i have a new switch, and a blower motor, as well as a complete new AC system from the wrecked black car that i can toss in.
it is easily one of the nicest and most solid E28s out there, and i planned to keep it until i decided tonight to take my business in a new direction that requires a little bit of capital.
im looking to get 10k for it without the wheels. (16" basketweaves in great shape will be included) or 12k with the style 5s.
i'll also throw in a set of freshly painted alpine euro fender flares, and a euro remote oil cooler assembly, which is complete.
the interior is nice.... the rear seat could use some attention, but it's not bad. the fronts are amazing. as nice as the pics, or better.
right now i'm not flexible on the price, nor am i looking to sell anything separate, unless the car sells without the style 5s....
