My e30 is for sale. I originally purchased this car (87 325i) automatic, and did a getrag 260 5 speed swap. Original color bronzit, I would give the paint a 6 if you dont look at the hood, roof or trunk, if you do, that would fall to about a -2. runs fine if you don't mind a symphony of valve chatter, if you do mind it then I hope you like listening to your music loud. The shifter I would describe as sloppy on a good day. 197k miles showing but since the odo has never worked in the year I've owned it, you can go ahead and assume well past 200k on it. The interior blower fan is well, worthless. Used to work on 4 now it's doneski. I tested the actual fan itself awhile back and it worked so it's something else, I just get going a good speed and let the heat waft in. It's nice. Not great for sitting in traffic on a cold morning. Gas needle reads a little lower than it really is.
On the plus side she's a reliable car, it's been my DD for months now with really no problems. She's tired but still fun to drive.

Dash computer's back light is out
Suspension is about what you'd expect
has the cold idle surge I just give a little gas for 20 seconds and it goes away.
windshield washers do NOT work
My original purchase price on this car was $400. I spent another 500 on the 5 speed swap and a few hundred more on other misc parts plus maintenance items I've replaced recently. I will include:
88+ radiator / reservior
4 more bottle caps and tires
steering rack
misc switches and such
NEW in a box control arms and bushings.
I'm looking for 1000 for this car. This would make a great swap candidate. Or just a good beater as I have used it. Car is located in Asheville NC
