    1990 325i FS Columbus, OH

Car is a 1990 325i/5speed. Light Silver with Grey cloth interior. Has sunroof, front lip, limited slip. Has approx. 160K miles on it.

Timing belt, tires, plugs, wires, fuel filter, etc. were all done by the previous owner just before I purchased it. Here is a link to his original FS thread 2 years ago, for reference:

Since then, I have replaced (all parts OEM unless specified otherwise):

Everything for the clutch (clutch/pp/throwout & pilot bearings)
    Shifter rebuild kit
Flywheel (8 lb aluminum JB racing, was balanced to clutch/pp before install)
    Throttle cable
    Guibo
    Center driveshaft bearing
Brake pads/rotors (porterfield R4S's and brembo blanks w/ ATE super blue)
    Aftermarket radio (USB/aux inputs)
    Battery (Advance Auto)

Some other stuff I'm forgetting. Basically, if it broke while I had it, I replaced the broken part and everything else around it that might break. The clutch, for example, I used as an opportunity to replace all the bearings along the driveline, guibo, flywheel, shifter, etc.

    Upgrades:
OEM seats replaced with Recaro Speed seats.
    Smoked Euro Headlights
    15" BBS wheels with Azenis.
Vorshlag camber plates (not installed yet).

    Upgrades from previous owner:
    Bilstein BTS springs and shocks
    Stainless Steel catback

    Side: http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo...eat=directlink

    Interior: http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo...eat=directlink

Price (including a la cart for those on a budget):

$6000/OBO with everything, also includes box o' parts (stock seats, stock bottlecaps with nearly new Kuhmos, German 7 button OBC, new dash clock, extra Euro headlights, plenty more)

$5000/OBO minus the Recaros (comes with stock seats only)
$4000/OBO minus Recaros, BBS wheels/Azenis, and Smoked Euros (comes with stock seats, 14" bottle caps and Kuhmos, and non-smoked Euros)

        Thanks for linking the pics!

Prices are OBO! Also willing to sell the Recaros, BBS's, smoked Euro's etc. separate for the differences listed.

Does this car have all original body panels, with vin # stickers to prove it?

          Where in Columbus are you?

            Kevin,

Not sure if you remember me or the car, but we met at Mid Ohio last year. I was paddocked across from you with the THR group.

I'm not sure if the car has all the original body panels or not, but I'd be happy to check. Which panels have VIN tags?

Lastly, please see the previous owner's thread (linked in my first post). The car is a great run-around vehicle, but certainly not perfect. If you're looking for a show-worthy car, there are probably better examples about.

I'm just north of Columbus in Ostrander. ZIP: 43061 if you want to google it. Please PM me if you'd like to come see the car. Thanks!

That's a nice looking car. I had an '89 that looked just like this and now I want another again. I'm wondering if this thing is solid enough to pass MD state inspection. I'd be interested in the car without the extras. What sort of condition are the ball joints and wheel bearings in?

                  Mike,

What all is involved in a MD state inspection? Safety items? Emissions?

The ball joints and wheel bearings are in good condition to the best of my knowledge.

The vehicle is currently driven everyday and passed several NASA/SCCA technical inspections last year.

Cars 20 years old and up do not require MD inspection; these qualify for historic tags, cheaper registration, and cheap insurance. :pimp:
