FS: 1997 Jetta: Shaved, slammed, carbs, eurotuner & PVW- CHEAP!!!

Happy new year year's to everyone, it now needs a new hood.

PRICE: $5800 W/ STEELIES. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY FIRM. TITLE IN HAND

    I am keeping the wheels.

Yeah, you read right. After a very short ownership- it is apparent that I need to let this go. My dad is pushing me towards a BMW as I had initially planned before this... so let's not restart the same flame thread like a week earlier. The rents just aren't cool with a car that needs to be cared for so much as I still live at home. This is not to say there is anything wrong with the car at all.... but it was an impulse buy as I had the itch for another VW after my scirocco.

The car itself- cover feature in both Eurotuner and Performance VW and on the banner of wheel whores.com. It's very famous- and you can see with the list below that it would not be a stretch to say that at 20k is invested in it. Nothing about the car has been changed- I simply raised the coils up about 2" so I can get up the steep slope to my garage.

Honestly- I just want to break even with the purchase after having it shipped from NJ and registering it. Regardless- the price posted is a definite steal.

    Please, no dumb comments.

              Thank you guys.

Philo, you are completely right about the car. The car is absolutely mint in every way, but having it sit outside now while we're getting snow tonight pains me. I've priced it extremely well for a quick sale... but I wouldn't outrule a trade either as I'd be continuing my BMW search after this.

Please pass the info along to anyone who may be interested- thanks.

GLWS... don't you hate selling something so pretty but in reality is totally beyond you to drive everyday? Heh, I hate that. GLWS, again!

Bumpity for a wicked beautiful car.

That engine bay makes me want to drop a stick of dynamite in my own engine bay. That is seriously clean!

Car has passed tailpipe emissions in NJ for anyone interested. But no, that's not the reason for sale.
