I am selling E30 BMW 318i Automatic Tan with Brown interior. I bought the car not running and have not even tried to get it running yet. I have not even cleaned it yet. I do not believe it will take much work to get it started and running. This car is a time capsule of a BMW, the car is 100% rust free and has the factory paint on it that is in outstanding shape. The body has no dents or dings and I am sure will clean up so it looks like it did in 1984 on the showroom floor. It just has been to cold for me to work or clean it yet. The interior is in outstanding shape, could use a good cleaning, but the dash and console are like new, The glove box latch is off but I have it, I just need to reattach it. All the glass looks brand new (no cracks, or chips) still has the factory labeling. The trunk has been cleaned out and vacuumed, all the factory BMW tools are in the case with the jack and handle. Even the factory spare tire and bottle cap wheel are there, with the 1982 tire. The engine bay still has all the factory BMW fuses and relays, it is really cool to look at this car and see all the factory stuff on it. It does not look to have any dry rot issue with the rubber under the hood. No mice got into or around the car. The brakes still work and it has a good pedal. I did hook up a battery charger to it all the gauges light up and seem to work. Power windows go up and down. I have the factory owner’s manual and BMW dealer listing. I even have the BMW window sticker and Factory BMW tape cleaner. The car has lived it entire life in Atlanta and is 100% rust free, the last time the car was driven was in 2004. From my understanding the guy used it as a seconded car for a long time, and just quit driving it one day. It has been under a carport. The car has ultra low mileage (Verified) @ 41,931. I have the Experian report for viewing.
I know that at least this will have to be done to get it running.
1) All fluids/filters will have to be changed.
2) Will need a battery, tried to charge, but to far gone.
3) Tires are at full depth, but are showing weathering (2002 production)
4) Gas tank will need to be drained I would replace the rubber fuel line and filter.
I am firm on 2,500 dollars for the car, in as in shape. I might trade the 318 plus cash for an E36 M3 5-speed. If I do not sell it at 2,500 dollars then I will get it running and drive it as a secondary/weekend car.
Feel free to contact me @ henryrollins2001@yahoo.com if you need more information.
I forgot to write down my links for the pictures, but you can view them here.
