I found an e39 i would love to own so i am considering putting a couple cars up for sale. this is a 1990 325i 5 speed, alpine II, 357k miles. i know i know, hear me out.. I bought this car not too long ago all stock with a blown head gasket. the PO had a 120mile commute everyday and they had the car for 10 years. about a week after i bought this car i bought an 88 325is 124k red with black interior that was built pretty good. i moved the entire drive train over to this car and mixed and matched some interior and this is what i ended up with. 124k on: m20b25, 5 speed trans, 3.73lsd. car has IE3 springs, billy sports, IE front sway bar (the solid one) M3 tabs on struts so M3 endilnks, rebuilt driveshaft, black sport interior, rear seat with armrest and headrests. Panasonic headunit, infinity reference font speakers and tweeters, underpowered 10in sub ported thru skihole, sounds very decent. Bavauto headers ($750), magnaflow cat, muffler options. ellipsoid headlights with 6000k HIDs, 15in gold euroweaves, good tires, 3 center caps. 2 gold ones and 1 siver, dinan chip, the previous owner of the donor car was a tech at rassmussen BMW. the car had blue coolant, the mod list said bored throttle body and m30 valve springs but neither of those i can verify. head has definitely been off recently though, its very clean. "is" front spoiler with splitter. z4 short shift lever. Some clearcoat peeling on the left rear as well as a tad of rust above the left rear taillight. This car pulls very hard and handles very well. this is just a preliminary post, i will add pics and info as i remember and as requested. ASKING $4,000 OBO CAR IS IN EUGENE, OR
