WTB: Any model E30 around $2K.

Needs to be within reasonable driving distance to CT. I'm saying MA/RI/CT/NY. May consider PA/VT/NH.

Its for a friend who totaled his Jimmy. He always considered getting an E30 and with an ice storm claiming his current car he wants to join our community.

    His wants:

Needs to be auto. Yes, auto, his request.
Needs to run, no trans/engine/coolant/suspension issues.
A little exterior rust as long as no major rot.
    Clean title.
    Decent interior, nothing trashed.
Record of recent work done to some degree.
Sedan or coupe he cares not.
    Divies or plastics.

All around $2k. I'll be dealing for him and I know what to expect for my price range. He can go up a bit more if needed. This is simply for a daily driver to college, work, and back. And the stipulation? He wants to know of any of your offers by Sunday or he's gonna pick up a POS Ford. PM me if you know anything, including CL ads but I figured I'd post here first.

    Thanks.

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

Good buy, but definitely far, far away from being local.

Finding a good car takes patience especially where you live in the rust belt. If he picks a POS Ford he deserves what he gets.

And to any Ford lovers on R3v I'm not a Ford hater because I have owned one for 27 years. I just don't own one that is a POS. I own a 65 Mustang Fastback.

As said, rust is fine as long as its not rotted. It's a DD...I know what DD's go for in my area and I'm wondering if anyone happens to have one they're willing to part with. He could get a Ford, its for school, but he'd rather have an E30 if he could.

Cool I didn't look that far back into the past I guess. I'll look into it.
