Car is in great condition, has H&R sport billy sport, m3 cab, new lower control arms. Plus full maintenance records
Timing chain skipped on the freeway and Im assuming busted some valves. Haven't done a check but i can tell that it has no compression, I haven't taken anything apart yet. I was going to throw another used m42 in and re list but I don't have the time. Moving to NYC in a few months and I need this gone.
$1500 OBO
Here is my original add:
This car has been very well maintained, and driving it you would not know that it has this many miles (218k). Feels strong and drives tight. I purchased the car a few months ago and installed the following:
-Valve cover gasket
-H&R/Bilstien Sport
-Offset M3 control arm bushings
-control arms
all of which I bought new. Suspension now has about 5k miles on it. Was previously installed on a car of mine that was parted and sold.
Car was purchased from the original family, and I have ALL of the records since new, most from Weatherford BMW in Berkeley where the car was originally purchased. Also have original owners manuals, even an original brochure for BMW race car driving clases that came with it!
Has the original steelies and hubcaps with new tires, <5000 miles on them
I also have basket weaves with very good condition tires that i can sell with it
I also have recently recovered tan sport seats that can go with it. They are currently installed in my truck so if you want these i would have to swap out the comfort seats.
Everything works great on the car and it is a blast to drive. I have been DD'ing it for a couple months now, and feeding it full synthetic
Heres some pics that I took today.

Ive included pictures of all areas that I thought you would want to see
Here is a list of the known issues:
Interior:
-B pillars are peeling off
-coffee stain behind passenger (should come out with a steam clean)
-Driver door weather stripping needs replacing
Exterior:
-A few little door dings
-small dent in valence and missing fog light cover
-small oxidation on roof
Other things:
-Has original bmw keyless entry, previous owner was female and had all doors but the drivers disabled by the keyless to increase security in the case of an attack. (I have the disclaimer written by BMW dealer when they performed this)
-rear driver door does not open unlock or roll down the window, I think this probably has to do with the main electrical connection to this door, but I have not had time to take anything apart yet.
-AC doesn't blow cold, was missing the belt when I got the car and I haven't bothered with it yet because its winter
-small power steering leak coming from the
reservoir, not a lot maybe a few drops over night. I've toped it off once since I've owned it.
$3,000
