how did you get your e21 looking so clean? was it bought and just kept that way or did you have to restore a good part of it?

One was a 72 350SL with good running engine but interior and paint was deteriorating.
The other was a 81 380SL with a seized engine. Was going to do a swap for the owner, but wasn't motivated enough to pay me, so it never happened. They're probably still sitting there today rotting. :roll:
Shame though, the 380 was in much better condition, but left unattended it wont be for long. Don't understand why the owner bought it for an engine swap then changed their mind.

yeah my mother has a 85 380sl

Ended up trading it for a 90 Mercedes 300ce, has the 3.0 24v 220hp engine
MSRP new $13k BMW vs $55k Merc, not a bad deal. Even got another $600 cash on top

Then some idiot did a NASCAR move and sandwiched me into the rail





His fault, got $3500 from his insurance and I got to keep the truck
only fender damage and still drivable.
