Here are more pics. Let me know if you want any more or of something specific. The odometer doesn't work and is stopped at 203k. The previous owner claimed about 275k with a new motor having been installed at 150k although no paperwork is there to show this. I took the oil pan off and valve cover and things looked to be OK so I believed him. I've put on maybe 3k so figure that in. AC blows cold, heater blows hot. Title is clean in my name and I have it in hand. Registration is paid through Feb 2011. Smog was done in late Jan*and I think it's good for 3 months. Brakes are in good shape with plenty of pad and work well. Suspension is worn, I planned on a Bilstein with Eibach setup, now I'm getting married so toys need to go. Engine starts up readily hot or cold. I*used a GPS for mileage from*here to Fresno and back and got 33-34mpg so I figure the engine is in decent shape. Doesn't leak or burn oil. I use BMW 5-30 weight. Sunroof works well and doesn't leak. Everything looks to be stock. I don't see any modifications. Tires are fairly new but nothing to get excited about. Problems: seats are worn with the drivers loose, clear coat on paint is sporadic, missing small black knob on sunroof handle, wipers only work on*high (I replaced the relay but it didn't help, that's as far as I got on that), brake lining light is illuminated although there*are plenty of pad left at all four corners, both front fenders and hood do not have the BMW original sticker on them leading me to believe that they were replaced at*some time, spare is a nice new rim with no tire on it, driver's mirror does work but grinds and moves roughly, front splitter is*absent, SRS light is illuminated, back up lights don't actuate when in reverse, tires need to be balanced (someone put stop leak in them),*small hits around front bumper affecting the trim although not too bad. I thinks that's it. Lots of little things. I bought it because the body was nice and straight and it seemed*to be screwed-around-with free. This is my fourth BMW and second 318is.*The car has a lot of potential to be*an awesome handler. I'm not getting much interest by advertising in Visalia so I'm willing to be flexible on price.*If it doesn't sell I might*put it on autotrader to reach a larger audience and hopefully an enthusiast will see it and recognize it for what it is.
