Up for sale is my 1990 triple black e30 vert with factory hardtop. Noteworthy specs on the car are as follows:
~176k miles, but it does have a BRAND NEW head casting, rockers, valves, everything (well, 2k miles on it)! This alone cost over 2k out the door. The car should be good to go for the next 48,000 miles before doing timing belt/water pump replacements.
~5-speed manual transmission.
~Heated leather sport seats (work GREAT).
~Factory Hardtop in good condition. No saggy headliner.
~3.73 LSD
~Engine runs very well. It was leaking a bit of oil, but it seems that I fixed it (will update/fix price if I find that it isn't fixed).
~All in all, just a great looking, fun car to drive.
~A/C Works
Time for the not so good:
There are a couple small dents, in the hood, and on the passenger fender (both fairly small). The rear plastic window on the soft top is gnarled up. I've never driven it with the soft top up (it was either down, or the hard top was on) but if you want to, I would recommend having a new window sewn in. Also, the rear seatback stitching is coming apart at the top. There is also no stereo deck.
I think the price is a fair starting point for a convertible in good overall condition with a brand new head, a hardtop, and working heated leather seats, man I'm going to miss those.
3000 OBO.
