The guy's name is Rodrigo, seems to be legit too.
For a slicktop with a clean m42, and an ok interior minus the dash, and in need of some body work, it's a good price I think.
For somebody with excellent resources, this is gold, like me.
Ima buy it, swap in the free m50 I have chillin at the shop, then throw the m42 in an 02 and watch the magic unravel.

I actually found one in my area, it's clean and well maintained but it has 280k on the clock. He wants $3k for it, I'm trying to talk him down.
That's an awful lot of miles for $3k. I sold my slicktop with similar miles for $1500 a couple years ago. It had a poor respray, but was rust-free.

If it helps your bargaining position, you can let the seller know I just picked up this 114k mile 318iS for $2700. I'll keep my eyes open for you.

I bought it.... There was alot he didnt say in the ad like a slipping clutch, brakes go to the floor, broken front windshield, no working keys at all but im still happy. Its going to be my girlfriends sisters car while she is here for her fellowship then... who knows. Was very scary driving it 100+ miles with a bad BMC =[

                  *edit,

can anyone actually identify what car that lip is from?
The lip is really ghetto actually, i will take pics once i rip it off but before i put it in the garbage =P

It wasnt crashed, cars get a salvage title after theft recovery if they have been MIA for too long. Generally what happens is the insurance company pays out the owner after 3 weeks and then the car is found and it becomes a salvage.

Who gives a crap, e30's BB value is so low that something like a fender bender usually salvages them

Oh shoot that was you who bought it?
The previous owner texted me and asked if I would pay full asking price since you made your offer.
I threw up an offer slightly above yours by 50 or so dollars and then sold it to you.
I regret not just throwing asking price down.
It will be a classy little project. You're a lucky guy.

If you saw it i dont think you would have offered asking... the pictures make it look much nicer than it actually is. I came prepared to give him full price thinking it was a steal, little did i know. TBH if i hadnt driven 2 hours i may have just walked away because i dont have time to do all the work it needs right now.
