Hey everyone,
It's time to consolidate my cars and get something newer, so sadly, I'll be selling the e30. I've owned this car for four years now, and has treated me very well, so getting rid of her is quite difficult. The car was mostly converted to an iS (like a 325is 4-door, which never existed) by a local mechanic and I while we each owned it.
The good:
*It's a 4-door with a 5-speed! Hard to find... Originally an auto, converted by Neil Mother F'n Daily, resident e30 master!
*It has a factory moonroof, yes, a moonroof. VERY hard to find!
*4.10 LSD with Delerin bushings. 4.10 was installed about a year ago, along with bushings.
*e30 M3 CABS (Control Arm Bushings)
*Black leather front sport seats
*Lowered
*Passed smog with FLYING colors!
*Cat and exhaust replaced not too long ago. Cat is brand new.
*Oil pan replaced not too long ago, which means it has very little mileage on the gasket.
*H4 Sealed Beam headlights
*iS trunk lip (in black)
*BBS Baskets, painted black
*Runs great!
*Engine cylinder head replaced (stock) 3 years ago by Neil and I. Has around 70k on it, still revs strong.
*THULE racks, with attachment for snowboards or skiis
*Smoked rear tail lights
The bad:
*It just hit 200k miles. This could be considered good or bad, depending on how you look at it. :)
*It has a salvaged title, due to it being stolen by a previous owner. Not caused by an accident or any damage to the vehicle. Should it really have been considered a salvaged title, in my books, No.
*Leather seats are a bit scratched up. Not torn, but just heavily weathered.
*The rear springs should be replaced, as it has Z3 springs in there right now. I had Racing Dynamic Sport springs all around, but one of the rears cracked. Car is drive-able, but is not entirely balanced correctly.
*The car was hit from the rear about a year ago while stopped at a light. There was no frame, or component damage, but the rear apron was pushed in, and the front bumper cracked. (stupid college girl on her cellphone, not paying attention...)
*Paint isn't perfect, but is decent. Some areas you can tell the clear coat is fading.
*I can't find the key for the THULE racks. I'm sure you can get them re-keyed or a key made.
So as you can see, it's not a perfect e30 by any means, but is a rare example of a fun car with great potential.
The car is located in La Jolla / UTC.
Price - Asking $2500, but open to offers.
If you have any questions, please feel free to post or message me.
