    FS: 1985 325e - M20B25 Swap - Euro Bumpers

As I've seen many people say time and time before, I never thought this day would come. Up for sale is my faithful daily driver E30 325e. This car has served me well as a daily driver for over 3.5 years and taken me up and down this side of the US. In my opinion this car is the ultimate daily driver E30. Has some tasteful mods, tons of new parts, still very drivable, and still cleans up decent 25 years later.

    1990 M20B25 engine / Getrag 260
    Late model cooling system
    Factory oil cooler
No p/s, no a/c, no cruise
    3.73 LSD differential

    IE subframe/trailing arm bushings
SS front brake lines, cross drilled front rotors
    E30 M3 springs
    Rebuilt drive axles
    New control arms/tie rods
    New clutch/throwout bearing/pilot bearing
    E30 M3 control arm bushings

    Euro bumpers/valance
    13 button OBC
    Late model gray sport interior
    Black map pockets & handles
    325eS trunk and wing
    Euro plate filler
    Body color mirrors
    M-Tech steering wheel
    Premium sound rear speakers
    20% window tint

All in all this is a pretty solid car and really doesn't need anything mechanically. The only real "issue" is it does have a little drivetrain vibration around 50-60 but it's nothing major. The paint on this car is definitely not perfect but it's still presentable and great for a DD. Most importantly, please note that this car does have a salvaged title. There is no structural damage and I can assure this car drives excellent.

    Asking $2600 obo.

Please PM me with any and all questions. I will be happy to provide more info as needed.

One more thing I must mention, the carpet is the original tan and has been painted dark gray with the vinyl and fabric paint. It looks pretty good but obviously isn't as good as OEM. There's a couple little interior parts not installed (like door sills and front speakers) but I can include this stuff if I don't end up installing it before the sale.

Here's the interior a few months ago. Only thing different is it now has a stock ashtray and stock shift knob.

    Thanks for looking. :)

I'd love to have a car like this. Just out of curiousity, what is the "drivetrain vibration" from? Drive shaft?

I can only assume so, although the guibo and center support ARE in good condition.

Great looking car although not sure if its worth that much for a salvage imo. Good luck with the sale. I might actually get back to you if you haven't sold it in about a week because it is pretty clean and your very close. I'd rather buy an e30 from someone on here rather than on craigslist, etc. who may have ran their car to the ground.

Considering the amount of maintenance that has been done to the car and the nice parts it has, I feel it is well worth the asking price. Not many E30's in this price range have a brand new clutch, tie rods, control arms, M3 bushings, urethane subframe bushings, newer brakes, good tires, good shocks, fresh valve adjustment, etc etc and the list goes on.

Oi, didn't see that part. then I'd say its a pretty reasonable price. Not to mention it probably hasn't been molested. GL with the sale.

                            Good luck Matt.

I have seen this car, it is clean. The interior is really nice, as you can see. Done maintenance is such a big part of buying a car like this.

Oh man, I'd snag this in a heart beat if it was a tad closer and about 2 weeks from now. Damnit.
                              Need a part? PM me.
