One of my co-workers is looking to sell his excellent condition E39. He's the same guy I bought my 318is from.
I've looked over the car and can say its clean and doesn't need any work. Its had a valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket and a thermostat I believe. Brakes are good, wheels are good, tires are good on tread but make a bit of noise. Its got an aftermarket satellite radio unit that is installed clean, also has a direct ipod interface that lets you control the ipod through the head unit.
The guy selling it is very honest and takes good care of his cars.
