WTB: Your E30 cabrios, show me them

budget: $4000 (maybe a smidge more for the right car)

    must be blue. period.

what matters: body/paint in excellent condition. Stock or very close to stock in terms of suspension and body. I live in Portland, so the top cannot have any leaks. 5-speed is almost a necessity.

i'd prefer a 318ic, but will definitely consider others and early models (especially if blue). if someone wants to sell their swapped vert cheap, i'd be interested too.

I've searched through r3v's FS section as well as craiglist, and haven't really found what I'm looking for, so let me know what you have. Thanks!

thanks for the tips, but i'd like to keep my search in the western half of the US so I can drive the car back in one day.

The only way I'd go farther is if Levent contacted me and told me he had the perfect car for me in NJ and it was blue.

                            thanks, Ken.

I've actually spoken with him via email about it and he says he's still not ready to let it go since it isn't "finished" yet. Once he's ready, I may pursue that option.

That is proper way to buy an E30. It'd take you 2.5 days by yourself most likely. But you'd have to burn it down like I did bringing mine back.
