Another flaker over the weekend. Amazing how people can waste so much time trying to buy something they can't actually afford, LOL. I'm about over the time waste!

Amazingly, still available, hahaha. Guess she is going to get swapped and I may just cruise around with the 5 speed for a bit until somebody steps up and pulls the trigger.

Car is now on Autotrader and cars.com. I can't believe nobody on R3V wants her. I don't think my price is at all unrealistic but I guess everybody is broke these days...

Seems kind of high. Just had one in my area that was a 93 (last year of E30 verts) Mtech same color etc... but a 5 speed manual 112k miles and sold for only $3500.

I would have bought it at the time but had to sell my Alfa Romeo first.

Though I did make some money installing a new rear window for the new owner. ;)

Sounds like a SMOKING deal. I would have bought it for that much had I not already had one. ;)

Market value is what somebody is willing to pay for something. You can give your car away or have a little patience and let a buyer who appreciates what you have come along. People who have seen my car understand the pricing. I'll pay a few hundred more for a clean car with a good history that has just been serviced with receipts from a reputable mechanic!

On that note,...sale pending! Hopefully this buyer doesn't flake out as two have in the past already...:?

Understandable. But after owning four E30s, a E21, E28, E34, and now a E32 you get to know good deals. Also have owned a few Mercedes an Alfa Romeo, VW, and just sold a Land Rover.
I definitely know what you mean by flakes, but that's just part of the car selling game.

Had bought two 88s for the price you're asking ;)

88 325e (aka super ETA) and 325i vert

Sounds like you know a good deal, congratulations. Two 88's for the price I'm asking sounds about right. Good pickups.

I won't list out my car history but I have more than a little experience in the game myself... Since we're on R3V, I'll share that one of my favorites of all of them has been the one that I picked up for the least amount... $700. :) See below...

Yea there are some deals out there
              my first E30, 86 325e

I had purchased for $200 cash plus a $400 mt. bike
150k miles and already had a BBS body kit.
It needed the lower control arms replaced.

              I swapped a 86 635Csi LSD into it, p-chip, and interior from a 91 325i

              friends 325es next to it

                  You're welcome...

I missed having a bimmer, so that is why I sold the Land Rover (in background).
Just picked up this 93 740iL, close to mint condition with M5 rims (I can't believe it's the original paint)

Previous owner put $5k into a rebuilt tranny two years ago
it has the Nikasil engine with 128k but no issues

Only other bimmer I had even close to this clean was the 80 320i (w/ 170k miles)

Didn't like the underpowered engine so I traded it for a 90 Mercedes 300ce
that was in like mint condition as well

I could go on and on,
have many photos of the cars I've owned
                  even a 77 Chevy C10 I put BMW Z3 seats in

                      Thanks again

I wanted to try an Alfa Romeo for a change (since having so many German cars)

                      94 164LS was pretty cool 3.0 liter V6 210 HP
had it for a short while then traded for the Land Rover

It was actually quicker on acceleration at freeway speed then some higher HP cars, though I didn't like that is was FWD

                      Walk Around YouTube Video

The lettering looks like it is gold in color but it is flat aluminum

Alfa is a very purty car! You are all over the map, literally and it looks like a true car guy!

RWD would be much more fun but still a nice piece of Italian auto art!

Back up for sale. Another buyer without funds holds me up. Oh well! $3,900 FIRM as is or a few bucks more with 5 speed swap. I'm pretty busy but should have time to show it this weekend if anybody wants to come take a drive.
