    '89 535i. Great parts/project car South Jerz

This is my brother's old car, that has been passed around our family since he moved to Richmond for college.

    Silver 535i:
    222023 miles
    Auto Trans

    The Good:
The car still runs and drives fine. Mostly everything still works. All the gauges still work, along with the power seats sunroof, OBC, etc. The rear seats, and the passenger seats are still pretty solid and in good shape.
The engine still runs great, and I honestly would feel safe taking it on a pretty decent length trip

    The bad:
Probably the biggest issue is that it gushes out brake fluid. My brother thinks that the main bad leak is coming out of the radiator, which I have a picture of.
Another problem, that doesn't really effect the drivability, is an audible shudder somewhere in the drive trains under acceleration in second gear. After that, its perfectly fine. We've all tried sourcing the issue but could never really find it.
the check control always alerts you that there's not enough oil or coolant, even when there is.
The rear passenger side door is jammed shut
The rear wheel on that same side, one of the lugs is pretty much fused to the hub, so that wheel won't come off
The paint is pretty much destroyed. We're not exactly sure what happened to it, but it looks like the previous owner tried waxing or polishing it, and ended up fading the paint. That, plus over 20 years of sun damage, lol.
The driver seat is pretty much destroyed.
    No radio
    No A/C
Fog lights work when they feel like it

    asking $1000 OBO

    Pics:

This is where it's leaking the brake fluid. I know it's hard to see, but under that metal hose it's completely coated in brake fluid

sorry about the night shots, I'll try and get some better ones soon
