FS: 1989 325i convertible with M-tech 1 trim (the car formerly known as Nina)

I need to scratch an itch so I have to sell one Gutenparts creation in order to purchase another one from them.

There is under 75,000 miles on the odometer and the car drives great.

It would be very difficult for you to find another convertible with all of the rare pieces that are packaged together in this one and have such low mileage on the original chassis.

The following items were replaced or added at 55,000 miles (90,000km)

    Interior:

    aluminum gauge cluster rings
    HVAC panel
    OEM Radio
    OEM armrest/cupholder
    Alpina e-brake boot
    Alpina gear shift boot
    Viper Alarm/Keyless entry system

    Engine:

Mark D 91 octane performance chip
    new 19lb fuel injectors
    new spark plugs
    new hood shock
    new K&N air filter
    brake fluid changed
    differential fluid changed
    new head bolts
    new fuel sender
    new radiator
    new timing belt
    new water pump
all remaining belts and hoses in engine bay replace with new ones
    battery tray
Fox cat back exhaust from Germany

    Suspension:

    new brake pads
    new stainless steel brake lines
    new H&R Sport springs
    new Bilstein shocks

    Exterior:

    OEM Blue Hardtop
new front and rear BMW roundels (badges)
    new front window gasket
    Z3 radio antenna
    Powdercoated Euro bumpers
    Euro front grills
    Black BMW kidneys
    Mtech 1 front bumper
    Mtech 1 rear bumper
    Mtech 1 rear spoiler
    European headlight wipers
    Custom tinted rear tail lights
    Custom European headlight assembly
    OEM trunk lid cover

The following items have been added after 63,000 miles (101,000km)

    Exterior:

New blue German canvas soft top
New black headliner in hard top
    Chrome Euro bumpers

    Suspension:

    Groundcontrol Coilovers with Bilstein Shocks
    Springs: Eibach GC F440lbs, R650lbs
    Groundcontrol Camberplates
    Rogue Engineering rear shock mounts
    Lemforder offset M3 Cabs
    Lemforder control arms
Lemforder tie rods (left & right)
    ejnight skidplate
    ejnight cross brace
    12mm wheel studs
    4mm and 6mm wheel spacers
16" 3pc ARE wheels with stainless steel hardware and custom center caps
14" bottlecaps with Nokian Hakka R snow tires

    Interior:

    Love the Ride windblocker
    New Nardi Blackline steering wheel
    Maplight mirror
    Factory Euro cloth interior*

*If you prefer the original blue leather interior instead of the cloth I can swap it back in for you.

    Price:

    ** SALE WITHDRAWN **

I do want to sell but please don't bother with a lowball offers. The price is very fair considering everything that is listed.

If you are a serious buyer I can work on the price if there are certain items which you do not want, like the steering wheel, hard top, etc that can be easily removed from the car.

All the pictures and information you need are in the following two threads.

This is the original build thread:

This is what I have done to her since I purchased her:

    Engine:

    Factory blue hardtop:

    Interior:

The right hand bolster of the driver seat now has a visible wear mark

    Exterior:

Don't need to burst my bubble as there isn't one.

Levent (ZM Blue Devil) knows what I paid for the car and if you add up everything else I added to date the price I consider very fair.

All the items you listed in your reply one can find anywhere. I don't think you will find a vert with as many rare parts in one package as this one. That's why I purchased it in the first place.

And if the new owner wants them I have a set of new Mtech-1 cabrio specific sideskirts on order from a BMW dealer to complete the bodykit, just waiting for the passenger side skirt to arrive.

I know every square inch of her. Not saying because we built it.. It's worth every penny. Go through the original build thread, there are so many great parts on this tight, low mileage chasis.

He took a great car and made it even better.

Yes the price is high compared to what you see on r3v, craigs and eBay but don't think for a second it's not worth it. This is the first GUTEN car, I just wish I could have the means to get it back.

The right buyer will find her, when they do hope they take care of her like you did.

Anyone who says the price is high is clearly just that...HIGH. I've personally been in this car, driven it, and it truly is a low mileage example with about all the rare parts you can stack on a vert. The damn hardtop is blue for christmas sake people...find another one of those.

This car will put about 99.9% of e30 verts to shame, there are only a couple of nice mtech IIs and a few m3 replicas that can even be considered in the same category.

I fully endorse this message, Matt.

I have not taken Nina through any snow but it does get cold in the Winter and summer tires don't work so well.

I also left the 16's on a bit too long when I first bought Nina and the salt got on them and ruined the face and barrels so I had to get the wheels refinished, so it is cheaper to run a Winter setup than to refinish the 16s again.

Yeah. Levent is a very evil person sending me some pictures.

Yes you can get a Mtech1 kit for far less, this includes the rear spoiler and the intense washer system as well the steering wheel.

Now stripping the entire car down and painting it? You are looking at an entire different process and cost.
Buying an Mtech1 for parts is one thing, doing what Levent did on his build to pretty much make this a like new car again is something totally different.

I still read that build thread of his and shake my head in amazement.

+1...I'd love to see these advertised "mint" cabrios...with LOW mileage, for near $3500...I was just in Cali, and actually looking at e30 verts, and didn't see a single Cabrio that fit the bill with comparable mileage and in comparable condition for anything near $3500.
