Opinions? Concerns? Not enough interest in the Northwest?

I would be interested in the car if it had 100% functional ice cold A/C
Also, you should post some day light pics showing the car from different angles. Engine shots would be nice, maybe some under the car pics.

            1. You mention the car "sits much lower now". Can you tell me about the suspension?
            2. Do you have the original parts that you have updated (wheels, grille, steering wheel, etc.)?
            3. Why the extensive engine work at 92k miles; blown head gasket or was this a bottom end rings/pistons issue?
            4. Does the car leak oil? (yes, its italian and this should be rhetorical...)
            5. Smoker car?
            6. Any shots of the engine you could post?

Thanks! I'm going to talk to Group 2 about pre-purchase inspections.

vlad, the AC works and blows cold air. I hardly ever use it though. Its usually not hot enough here in Washington to matter. (though lately its been a little ridiculous for Washington.)

              1. You mention the car "sits much lower now". Can you tell me about the suspension?

The back end was lowered already when I got the car.(Why the previous owner did this is beyond me.) The front end was not. I thought it looked retarded. My buddy did both his 3.0 Milano and his GTV-6 so I had him do mine as well. I can take a look when I get back from camping because I'm really not sure right off the top of my head.

              2. Do you have the original parts that you have updated (wheels, grille, steering wheel, etc.)?

Unfortunately no. It was all in the car when I bought it. I have the original seats that my roommates cats got to. Hate cats. I do however have all the little pamphlets, books, shop manual, and tool kit that came with the car.

              3. Why the extensive engine work at 92k miles; blown head gasket or was this a bottom end rings/pistons issue?

The reason this engine has less miles then the car itself is because its an identical engine from a different Milano. Had way to many issues with the old engine and it was cheaper to get a fresh working one put in. With that the newish engine had an oil leak which is where Group2 comes into play. They replaced a lot of the seals trying to stop the oil leak. The last seal they thought to replace was the Head gasket which is what was leaking. Why they didn't try that before doing the rest I have no clue. But now the engine has been gone through and all done by G2.

              4. Does the car leak oil? (yes, its italian and this should be rhetorical...)

It hardly leaks anything at all now.

              5. Smoker car?

I am a smoker but I try to keep smoke out of the car. I don't like smoking in the car. The car does not smell like smoke though if thats what your trying to figure out.

              6. Any shots of the engine you could post?

I will get more shots of the car up when I get back from camping. Monday or Tuesday. I will get more exterior and some engine shots.

Sorry it took so long to get more pictures and another reply to this thread. Been really busy between work and helping out my parents. Here are more pictures of the engine, exterior, and some of the underside. I do apologize if the quality of these photo's are all that great. Only camera I had access to right now, and I'm no photographer or anything.

As it stands the car is still up for sale. I'm not in any huge hurry to sell it but the sooner it goes the sooner I get myself into an E30, and I really want an E30.

Oh, what a sexy mother. Levent, I'm right there with you. I freakin love Alfas. If only they were as readily available, affordable and reliable as ol' beemers, I'd have a garage full of them. Starting with this one and a Montreal

Its the 2.5L. My old supervisor has a 3.0 Verde and I have driven it and then driven mine. Didn't notice much of a difference.

This car actually came from the Easy Coast. Michigan, I had a guy ship it to me. Ran about 1000 for shipping. The car really is a blast.

Didn't Group 2 Steam clean the entire engine also while they were working on it?
