^^^ think u have me confused with someone else. Lol.
In another note. I put in a new tps, spark plugs. I moved the maf to get to the TB. Buttoned it back up, but forgot to plug the maf back in.
But the car didn't idle up and down or stall. I thought usually giving the car gas with out the maf plugged in, that it would stumble. But it ran fine, that just seems backwards.

Does the CEL and funny idle come on after the car is idling for a while? Mine does a similar thing when after it sits at idle for a while then the CEL will pop on and the idle will start hunting fairly aggressively. Also is the Air filter plugged directly into the MAF? I've heard that at least a 3" long tube to separate the air filter and MAF helps the idle.

yeah it will do it after it sits at idle for a little, but it will also do it after driving for 10 minutes. yeah filter is connected to the maf.

The mass air is new, euro unit. but doesnt mean its good. The harness was done by gregslow, havent tried a different ecu.

but still seems funny that it ran pretty nomal, with driving a few miles like how it should with the MAF not plugged in.

4700. Think it has to be something with the mass air. Ever since I unplugged it, it seems to be running fine.

I'd trade for a good condition stock e30, with maybe some coilovers.

                              is it trowing a cel?
12v+ power to pin 16 (iirc) on the dign port will power up a peak tool/other scanners....but have you tried the stomp test?
Check engine light on in your car? Not sure how to fix it? Use the techniques outlined in this article to figure out which problems are causing the light to come on.

is the coolant sensor connected?(blue one) o2 air temp sensors....

for the water temp sensor on the cluster did you use a e30 (brownis/yellow one) in place of the black one (e36/34)

yes the car is still forsale. It will end up throwing a cel, stomp tesdt doesnt work. If i unplugged the maf it will run fine. I should try a new mass air.
