Auto in a vert is not always a bad thing, most women these days can't drive a stick nor guys for that matter. Hence why the manual transmission is a dying breed.

For an E30 guy thou it's just a weekend swap project and new mounts all the way around makes for a more enjoyable car.

Personally, I wouldn't completely mind an auto in a vert, simply because I feel like verts are more for easy cruising then high performance driving.

I am driving across country in December. Maybe a vert is not the best idea for me, and maybe I'll find a fresh one in Cali

Its not really that cheap to be unbelievable! Funny looking vinyl on the seats, paint isn't all that good and its a slushbox. My vote is: its legit, pick that shit up, offer him 1400 and take it from there
