    FS: N FL 1987 325es M50 swap

    Need to sell my extra project car as I need some funding to complete my cabrio.

    1986 325es - Mileage is 136K ish - ZERO rust
    * Original paint in excellent condition. Does have some dings and dents.
    * M50 - Non-Vanos full rebuild with M52 (2 . 8 ) guts. Head rebuilt and shaved - compression around 11:0.1. All new rubber parts, hoses, belts, idler pulleys, plugs, etc.
    >>>>about 200 miles on rebuild. Does not smoke or use oil.
    -- currently running OBD1 headers as I have not found an OBDII cat section. I do have a set of OBDII headers, already welded, that I could include. Has OBDI cat section and a 99 M3 muffler with 50k miles on it.
    * 5 speed Getrag 250. No noise from trans - shifts smooth. New bushings (Shifter is tight)
    * New 535i engine mounts, new trans mounts
    * 2.93 limited slip (original)
    * Mtech1 Wheel (original)
    * A/C is working with R134, new receiver/dryer and expansion valve.
    * Urethane FCABs
    * Windows work - rear pop-outs too.
    * Central locking works - Matched lock set (glovebox too)
    * Front tires new - rears worn on edge (camber - on the wheels when I bought them - rear suspension is fine)
    * New front and rear window chrome trim.
    * New hood roundel
    * New Bilstein Tourings all the way around
    * brand new driveshaft CSB.
    * Needs oil level sensor replaced as light stays on.
    shift boot and Handle on order.

    Hate to let her go but she needs to. Price is SOLD

      whats up with the dash? Looks like there is a second dash over the top of the first one? maybe my eyes are deceiving me.

      Do you have a shift knob on the car?

      Is all the wiring for sound equipment in there?

      Did you do anything to the clutch/flywheel or Tranny main seal?

      Are you running a chip in the Ecu?

      Nice car.

        1) Yes - Orig dash is cracked, has the plastic cover (previous owner). On list of to-do's to find new dash. Your eyes are still okay. :)
        2) Yes. Tunes working just needs trunk CD changer reinstalled.
        3) Yes - but could use a new one. have new shift boot too, just need lower ring clip.
        4) No to clutch and flywheel - it's all e36 stuff, in decent shape. Front and rear tranny seals replaced.
        5) No. On the list of to-do's also........
        > No hasn't been on dyno yet either.
