FS: RI 1997 Technoviolet M3 Sedan

Copied over from my bimmerforums post. thanks!

I will also entertain trades for "cheap" e30 325is with plastic bumpers. i dont care about the interior shape or anything. I want a cheap car to DD while I open my business, that I can gut and make into a solid track car come spring. There is a solid one local to me, so i would take some offers on this so I can make a move on the car local to me.

Bumping this: In addition to everything from the original post, I just had the entire coolant system replaced down to the hoses and clamps. Also the front windshield HAS been replaced and is 100% new. Adjusting the price accordingly. I currently have 18x9.5 et 33 rear (235/18) VMR V710's and 18x8.5 et 35 fronts (215/18) That I can sell with the car. The front tires have like 800 miles on them.

Car now has 119,000 miles. Was recently detailed and running well.

I am looking for $ wise: OBO

Back to stock or with HR Race Springs: $5,800
    With HR Coilovers: $6,650
As is with the UUC exhaust and wheels: $7,995

I will update this with some more pictures and some of the interior tonight as well. I will be sure to get back to everyone ASAP.

    Thanks

    UPDATED WITH NEW PICS: 10/26/10

Also forgot to mention that the front hood stuts are old and dont work. I bought it that way and it never bothered me. They didnt open the hood enough to do much anyways. I always used a stick..

Interior. I have the window control for the drivers side, just have to pop it in

Please scroll down to the bottom for pricing. I think it is priced very fairly. Please read on for more details. Thanks for looking either way.

Basically, I just got the car 110% caught up maintenance wise (i was gone for 4 months with the Army) and realized that I want to get back into a track setup/boosted car.

I have receipts for all of the work and records can be attained for everything on the car over the last few years. I just spent easily over $2500 on replacing allll of the suspension bushings, control arm bushings, brake fluid flush, oil change, new drivers side window regulator, new HR Street Performance coilovers, new tires, new corner lights and black interior.

I had the car for sale probably 8 months ago with a few little problems here and there, all of which were taken care of professionally. The car remains in super good shape and washed a solid 3 times a week... or whenever it gets dirty. Depends on the week. Sometimes 5 times and other times just once, if it doesnt freaken rain as soon as I am done.

-1997 Technoviolet M3 Sedan ~113,000 miles (I can account for like 25k of the last 35k is alllll highway mileage. I like to cruise around a lot) I dont beat on the car and really, it is an automatic -- doesnt rev as high and just doesnt get beat on. The car is still super fun and handles like a champ. I took the car on a 300mile trip last week and averaged 28.7mpg on some rolling highways on the way to NH with cruise control on. I get around 24.5mpg daily and pretty easily 28 on the highway.

-Completely replaced suspension and control arm bushings
    -Fresh tires/wheels/4 wheel alignment
-Everything serviced and checked in the last month
    -New windshield
-New black door pannels, and seats from a 65,000 mile car
    -HK sound system
    -Black interior

Body is in great shape with just very minor defects from use over 13 years. It is in GREAT shape for its age. No rust. The car was an Arizona car for ~10 years and has only seen 1 winter here.

I do have a UUC System U exhaust on the car and an intake made for me by our shop, but neither are MAJOR power mods or really do much of anything. Can be returned to stock in ~1 hour.

The exhaust is a little crooked, just havent gotten time to fix it. If the car sells, I will be sure to bring it down to the exhaust shop and have new exhaust hangers installed with a newly welded bracket to insure exact fitment.

I still have the stock exhaust, which is in great shape that can be put on the car as well.

I can get more.. but the car is very nice and anyone who has seen it around here can vouch for it.

    The Cons:
-The mirrors were painted and I just kinda did a once over to get them back to Technoviolet. I can get them replaced and if the car does sell there will be a set with OEM BMW paint on there.
    -Rear fenders are rolled
-Light oil leak from the oil pan bolt where the last owner threaded it a bit. I just use a little rubber grommet and replace it each time so no residue ends up in the oil (which gets changed very regularly).
-Automatic, but it is 130% good to go, zero problems.

Hmm.. I think that is about it.. I will post up anything else I can think of. Just cruised around in it for like an hour and cant think of anything else.

    Thanks

    -Brandon

      A) where is the modena interior, and b) which wheels are you selling it with? BBS? Or the first set pictured? VERY interested...

It isnt modena, it is dyed leatherique. Came out nicely and is in the car unless someone wants the black interior. Just the seats are dyed. I never got around to doing the door cards, but they are all black.

I dont have the BBS and depending on the price, the car comes with VMRs or stockers.

Wish it wasn't an auto. I'd consider a trade with me s52 powere 89 325is if it was a 5spd.
