1987 325is for sale. Smog certificate is good til nov 15. pretty rough looking, but it does run good, and has a fairly fresh valve job (30k miles, prev owner broke timing belt). drove it to petaluma and back friday, 50 miles or so, no prob, occasionally drive it to work and back, 60mi. battery will drain if not driven every 4-5 days, has wrecked drivers frnt quarter panel, frnt fender, grey car with white hood. lights all work and function, but passenger window won't roll down. locks don't work, has 3.73 diff but not LS. tires hold air but all are different

Things I neglected to mention... the front spoiler is gone, as are the basketweaves... exhaust is decent, not sure if cat will pass smog, and i make no guarantees on any part of the car... interior is black leather, recaros, driver's seat is a little worse from wear, but still comfortable with a few cracks, has a new brake master cylinder and rt rear caliper. NOTICE: it has a SALVAGE title from the accident that caused the current damage. i have a lot of paperwork that came with it, the lady spent a ton on it, only to have a woman hit her and total it. the used engine receipt dated 5-28-08 says 220k engine, valve job at 200k clutch at 215k, and new timing belt, car had 158536 now its at 170,000 but odo doesn't work. car pulls better than my 87 w 202k (all original). has a newer steering rack and tie rods, drives straight w no issues besides the tires. i bought the car to drive, and was going to either replace bent body parts with salvage or transplant engine... now im moving to TX and it's not going with me

by the end of the month. it was smogged 8-13-10, so it's valid til 11-13-10, according to the receipt. not sure when registration is up. i'll check later.
