Yes, second accident since I bought it. First one wasn't my fault, this one was technically my fault.. the car just spun out. I wasn't even going fast. I was doing about 30 merging onto the highway, hit the gas and the rear just slid out. Basically lost $6000 because of what I paid for it and what I've put into it since I got it. Needless to say, my girlfriend is pretty pissed off at me over the whole situation, as am I (our money combined paid for it).

I am working on moving it to a friend's where I can start taking it apart.

I was going to try to get in touch with you but by the time I calmed down I just forgot. Needless to say I've been quite upset over the whole situation. I am still kind of freaked out driving because the guard rail was basically about a foot from my face and it hit the car hard enough where it punctured the body as you see in the photo. Go figure it hit a part that's not easy to fix. If it was the door at least I'd be able to fix it easily, just put on another door!

The way it looks now I am not going to be getting another e30. I just can't find anything that I like enough or doesn't need a ton of work. I am tied up with work 55 hours a week and I work on Saturdays and its just hard for me to set up time with a friend (who has tools) to work on the thing and I have nowhere where I live to do any work.

Make an offer for the whole car if you want it.

I can not repair it myself because it needs more than just a quarter panel and the quote I got for repair is $4600. My cousin gave me the quote and I wouldn't be surprised if he ripped me off because it seems excessive, especially for a family member.

If someone here thinks they can fix it, I'd happily pay you to if you can give me a much better price.

Damn. I just gave away a 89 shell for scrap metal 2 months ago. Wish I had held it longer. I would have gave it to you.

Man Anthony, again, very sorry to hear what happened and your situation now. I feel your pain - that car was about as minty as they come! Since it appears beyond repair, def recommend either obtaining another clean shell and swapping things over, or just parting it out - the sum (of those parts) would probably net more than the whole car as is. Either way, you're going to need more time and more money, both of which I can understand being tight on, and of course a ton of patience. If I was still up there I'd let you put it in my garage to help do the work. And I'll just throw this out - if there's anybody up in the South Jersey area that can lend this guy a hand, please reach out! He's a good dude.

                  Best of luck.
                  Dave

someone come get it. throw me an offer. I already bought another non-BMW car so this is useless for me to keep around.

Will trade for a running old RWD Volvo. Obviously doesn't need to be in fantastic shape, these regularly sell for $1000 or so.

No part, buy it all or nothing. I'll try to get the subject changed. It's going to the scrap yard next weekend if no one takes it.

$1000 is the lowest I'd take. Any lower I want the satisfaction of watching it get crushed. I know, I am cynical bastard.
