Original 1984 5 speed henna spending all its life in Southern California.
This is a 1 owner car. First owner had it 26 years. It took a while for me to convince him to sell it but after almost a month of talking back and a forth we agreed on a price. So here are the pros and cons about the car. I'm going to drop it off to the mechanics for a full inspection but all in all, henna fans will not be disappointed.
Pros.
*One owner car! Car is extremely original down to the roundals! The tools kit is all there. Manuals. Original key, original valet key. Original dealer window sticker. Factory cassette cleaner, original shift knob etc.
*No rust. This one is clean.
*Shifter is extremely smooth.
*Car features the original factory sports interior (seats, 3 spoke steering wheel). Four wheel disk brakes.
*Henna paint (also original).
*Took the car for a 3 hours drive (170 miles to San Diego), no overheating, just straight eta driving.
*Black interior, updated aftermarket CD radio, power sunroof, power steering, power windows, power door lock, OBC, heater works great.
*Car is extremely straight!!!
Cons:
*Seats need attention
*Cluster should be replaced (RPM gauage not working)
*Approx. 250k on original engine.
*crack dash
*Passenger fender is scraped.
*Oil leak.
Hands down its just a great platform and that's what I'm really promoting in this car. It's just a great car to build upon. Clean title.
I dont know where the price range on an original henna, one owner, rust free, californian car is. I have seen rusted examples from $600 to better specimens for about $5k. Since forum rules dictate a price, lets start with $1900 but keep in mind I am open to all and any offers! It's truly a $2500 exceptional car with a great history. I only I brought this car with the intentions to sell it and pay down a few bills. If you are looking for a henna that is restore worthy please contact me. These cars are become increasingly hard to find in this condition. I will keep you guys posted.
Thank you.
